Description :
The Sierra de Grazalema is one of the greenest corners of Andalucía — a mountain range of dramatic limestone peaks, deep gorges and lush valleys that feels a world away from the Costa del Sol. And tucked into its folds are some of the most beautiful white villages in Spain.
The morning belongs to Grazalema. One of the prettiest villages in Andalucía, it sits at over 800 metres, surrounded by mountains, with a compact old town of whitewashed houses, geranium-filled balconies and a central square that invites you to sit down and stay a while.
The afternoon takes you down to Zahara de la Sierra. Perched on a rocky outcrop above a turquoise reservoir, with a Moorish castle at the summit and the white village cascading down the hillside below, it's one of the most photogenic spots in all of Andalucía.
Free time in both villages to explore at your own pace, have lunch, and take it all in.
